Toph's hands curled into fists as she followed the ever so light footsteps of Aang, "You surprisingly walk very quiet..." she stated as her fear and anger swam through her. She was trying to distract herself from the fact that Suki was missing.
What could have happened? And how could the police think that Sokka, of all people, had anything to do with it? This was all too much to handle at once. She wondered how Sokka was doing anyway or if Katara had heard anything.
Thinking that she should probably call Katay when they got back to the apartment. Aang's apartment. Where he had asked her to stay for a while because he wanted her company.

Korra fidgeted in the wooden chair, looking straight ahead where strangers danced. The beautiful dresses adorned with opulent designs, sparkled in the dim light, and cast beams of light dancing across the beautiful tiled floor of Republic City's main ballroom. This was, in fact, the same room in which Councilman Tarrlok had held a party in her favor; with the same staircase he had tricked her into telling the press she'd be fighting with him to defeat Amon. That was so long ago that it didn't bother her much to remember it.
It was not even a day or so ago that Korra had decided to attend this event. The poster had finally irritated her enou

Tale of Sokka: Unrelenting Force (Pt 1)
A/N: Not sure if I'll ever write the second half of this concept, but I might as well post the first half since a few people have asked about it. =) This is just for fun, a crossover between Avatar and Skyrim. Bear in mind that Smellerbee's interpretation in this story is based on the Skyrim character Njada Stonearm, who even wears the double-striped facepaint on her cheeks like Smellerbee does. I felt like writing a non-canonical romance, since...well, this is just for fun! Plus, SRU!Sokka & Smellerbee have had their moments of tension, oddly enough, so you can look at this as an exploration of that. The concept of this series would be to ex

Hurricane Hasano - Chapter 1
It was raining hard. The ground was slick and traffic clogged the streets of Republic City. Accidents were everywhere, caused by the inexperience new drivers had with driving in the rain. Automobiles hadn't been around for too long, and the long drought left people confused as to how to handle the machines in wet conditions. Hasook, though, maneuvered the streets expertly.
After leaving the pro-bending scene, Hasook found himself with a lot of down time on his hands. He took up driving and soon became an expert. The speed was exhilarating, and thrill-seeker Hasook couldn't get
Word had spread quickly about Amon's defeat. It was shouted out windows and printed in large font in the newspapers. From where Tahno sat every day in the train station, he heard countless stories about Amon's dethroning. Once his initial joy over the most likely death of the man who took his bending faded, Tahno wasn't interested. A new rumor had caught his attention.
There was gossip between those who were in-the-know about a new power Avatar Korra was rumored to posse. If the rumors were correct, Korra could bring back a persons' bending.
Korra wasn't a hard person to find, her home on Air Temple Island didn't exactly scream "secre

"How close are you and Asami?" asked Iroh as he lounged on the couch in his apartment. He was sprawled out the entire length of the couch, his long limbs taking up space. Bolin brushed off Iroh's legs, causing Iroh to partially sit up, and took a seat on the cushion.
"Not very close at all," replied Bolin offhandedly.
"Alright."
"Food?" offered Bolin, handing the bowl over to Iroh.
"I'm good," said Iroh, shaking his head no. Bolin shrugged and started fiddling with the radio. He found his favorite comedy radio station and settled himself into the couch. Bolin leaned on Iroh's torso, but was surprised when Iroh did not immediately wra

Lin giggled as Sokka lifted her up into his arms. He couldn't help but laugh himself. Her laugh was so similar to her mother's.
"It's time for you to go to bed," said the Councilman, poking her nose and making her squeal in delight. "So Mommy and I can have some alone time."
"I want to have alone time with you and Mommy!" she insisted innocently.
Sokka chuckled as he opened the little girl's room. "Not tonight, sweethea
The pile of papers taunted Zuko. Of course he knew what they meant (the pile on the right was important, the pile to the left of that was moderately important, then ha what are you thinking, and finally when Agni appears before me this will happen). This didn't mean Katara knew what they meant or could find anything when looking through them. A shouting match between the two of them (with their son chiming in with his own cries) lead Zuko to this point. It wasn't his fault Katara couldn't find the paper she'd needed a few days ago. He told her which pile it was in (what are you thinking) and she should have been able to find it.
Now, lo

"Mako?"
She knocked on the door for the umpteenth time, this time becoming so frustrated that the impact in which she hit the door knocked it down, out of it's frame and onto the ground. For a moment she simply stood there, gazing down at the broken door with her ocean blue eyes, but deciding it wasn't very important as of now and that she would fix it later, Korra simply shrugged, a small satisfied smile creeping onto her face. When had she become that strong?
Well, that's one way of opening the door. she thought, walking into the room that had been locked from her before.
"Mako? Are you in here-" She cut herself off as she gasped at the
